At Tax Nomads we handle your data the same way we advise: doing things properly and explaining them clearly. On this page we tell you what data we collect, what we use it for, and what you can do about it.

We are the controller of the personal data we collect through the website https://nomadasfiscales.com and through our contact channels.

2. Who this policy applies to

We process data belonging to three types of people, and what we do with it differs in each case:

Visitors: you browse our website without providing us with identifying data.

Interested users: you give us your details to access free content, subscribe to our communications or request a consultation.

Clients: you have engaged one of our services.


3. What data we process

If you are a visitor

Technical browsing data: IP address, device and browser type, approximate location, pages visited and usage statistics. This is collected through cookies and analytics tools, and you can manage it from our cookie policy.

If you are an interested user

The data you voluntarily provide in our forms. Usually your name and email address.

In consultation request forms we may also ask for your phone number, country of residence and information about your professional activity, your sources of income and your objectives, so that we can approach the consultation properly.

We do not need you to send us identity documents or detailed financial information at this stage. If someone asks you for this on our behalf before a contractual relationship exists, be suspicious and get in touch with us.

If you are a client

When you engage a service, we process the categories of data necessary to provide it and to comply with the applicable legal and regulatory obligations. Depending on the case, these may include: identifying details and identity document or passport, date and place of birth, nationality and country of residence, address and proof of address, family situation, academic and professional background, economic activity, information on income, assets and their origin, tax residence, tax identification number and tax returns, bank details, documentation required by know-your-customer (KYC) procedures, signature and photograph.

The specific documentation required depends on the service engaged and the jurisdiction involved. In each case we tell you what we need and why we need it.


4. What we use your data for, and on what legal basis

To deliver the free content you have requested, and to handle your consultation request, schedule it and carry it out, we process your data on the basis of performing what you yourself have asked of us (Article 6.1.b GDPR).

To follow up on your request and offer you services related to what you consulted us about, we rely on our legitimate interest in developing our business activity (Article 6.1.f GDPR).

To send you news, content and commercial communications about our services, we rely on your consent, which you give by ticking a specific, voluntary box (Article 6.1.a GDPR).

To send our clients information about services similar to those they have already engaged, we rely on our legitimate interest and on Article 21.2 of the Spanish Information Society Services Act.

To provide the services engaged and manage the relationship, we rely on the performance of the contract (Article 6.1.b GDPR).

To comply with legal obligations in tax, accounting and anti-money laundering matters, we rely on compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6.1.c GDPR).

To analyse the use of the website and improve our services, we rely on your consent to the use of non-essential cookies.

To measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and show you personalised ads on third-party platforms, we rely on your consent to the use of marketing cookies (Article 6.1.a GDPR).

About commercial communications

Consent to receive them is voluntary and separate.

You can withdraw it whenever you wish, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand, by using the unsubscribe link in any communication or by writing to us at consulta@nomadasfiscales.com.

Channels we use

Email, phone and WhatsApp. If you would rather we did not use one of them, tell us and we will respect that.


5. How long we keep your data

Browsing data: for the periods set out in the cookie policy.

Interested users who do not go on to engage our services: up to 3 years from your last contact or interaction with us. Each new interaction restarts the period. If we detect prolonged inactivity, we may delete the data sooner.

Subscribers to our communications: until you withdraw your consent.

Clients: throughout the contractual relationship and, once it has ended, for the periods required by the applicable tax, accounting and anti-money laundering regulations, which in certain cases may extend to ten years. After that, the data is deleted or anonymised.


6. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data.

We share it only with:

Technology providers who provide us with services under a data processing agreement: web hosting (Hostinger), client management and communications (Pipedrive), process automation (Make), email and productivity tools (Google Workspace, including Google Meet) and messaging (WhatsApp).

Professional partners and collaborators, where necessary to provide a service you have engaged — for example, authorised agents in the jurisdiction where you intend to incorporate a company or apply for residency. This only happens once you have engaged the service, is limited to the data strictly required, and we tell you in advance who the recipient is.

Public authorities and official bodies, where there is a legal requirement or regulatory obligation.

Advertising platforms, such as Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., through tracking pixels installed on the website. This only happens if you have accepted marketing cookies, and you can withdraw that consent at any time from our cookie policy.


7. International scope

We are established in the United Arab Emirates and provide services to people in different countries. When we process data belonging to people located in the European Economic Area, we do so in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, which applies to us by virtue of its Article 3.2.

Some of our technology providers are established outside the European Economic Area. In those cases, data transfers are covered by European Commission adequacy decisions or by standard contractual clauses entered into with those providers.

Where the service you engage requires data to be shared with collaborators located in third countries, we inform you specifically and, where appropriate, obtain your explicit consent.


8. Your rights

You may exercise the following rights at any time:

Access: to know what data of yours we process.

Rectification: to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

Erasure: to ask us to delete your data when it is no longer necessary.

Restriction: to ask us to suspend processing in certain circumstances.

Objection: to object to processing based on legitimate interest.

Portability: to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format, or to have us transmit it to another controller.

Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

Write to us at consulta@nomadasfiscales.com stating which right you wish to exercise. We may ask you to prove your identity. We will respond within a maximum of one month.

Complaint to a supervisory authority. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority. In Spain, the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es). If you live in another country in the European Economic Area, with the authority in your country.


9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration: encryption of communications through an SSL certificate, access controls, and confidentiality obligations for all our staff and collaborators.

No system is completely invulnerable. Should a security breach occur that poses a risk to your rights, we would notify you without undue delay and report the incident to the competent authority.


10. Accuracy of data

You are responsible for the truthfulness of the data you provide to us and for keeping it up to date. If you spot an error, tell us and we will correct it.


11. Links to third-party sites

Our website may contain links to third-party pages. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy policies. We recommend reviewing them before providing personal information.


12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to adapt it to regulatory changes or changes in our services. The current version will always be published on this page along with its date. If the changes are substantial and affect processing based on your consent, we will let you know.
